Bogo’s Cobra, Cebu’s HAS-H2O share lead in ‘Operation Paltik’
Team Cobra of Bogo and Cebu’s HAS H2O took a share of the lead after the first scenario ended during yesterday’s “Operation Paltik” airsoft competition held at the Cebu State College of Science and Technology-Cebu Institute of Technology (CSCST-CIT) School Ground in Sabang, Danao City.
The H2O and Cobra teams both tallied 375 points at the end of their first challenge in the Danao Airsoft Group Incorporated (Dagi)-presented event to take the early leadership in the 13-team, two-day mock wars.
Taking up the second spot in the 12-man per team competition, which is being held in cooperation with the Danao City Government, are the Trident Knights, who tallied a score of 365 points.
The visiting Leyte Alliance team, composed of players from the cities of Tacloban and Ormoc, also made a good showing in the first day of action as they secured the third spot with a total of 340 points while Team Scorpion (335) and Mandaue Airsoft Group (150) complete the top five leading squads.
The MAG team, which ruled the 1st Airsoft Survival Game Invitational Competition in Carmen, is composed of Rodolfo Ouano Jr., the team leader, his assistant Jonathan Ouano and members Rodelito Arioja, Charlie Lumungsod, Amidello Saladaga, Charles Louis Lumungsod, Ramon Cinco, Michael Cinco, Ritche Cinco, Cesar Demape, Bruno Silorio, Jimlan Budlao, Rachel Espina, Roland Quimbo, Andre Sungahid and Christian and Bebong Entica.
Occupying the sixth spot with 120 points is Team Cast while Teams Saat, Wolvez and host Rambo, are tied at seventh with 110 points apiece.
The newly formed Black Aces Club, which is manned by James Osorio, Nene Consul, Ricky Sandoval, Christian Rodriguez, Willy Antenero , Bimbo Bael, Archie Lumayag, Bern Talolong, Onnie Talolong and Glenn Morales, are on the eighth spot with 100 points while Pacman Ltd. Is bringing up the rear with 80 points.
Action resumes today in the tournament, which is using 0.2 gun ammunitions. (JSV)
